Suzhou Zhuhui Hotel is located in Shuangta Street, Gusu District, Suzhou, adjacent to the famous garden Pavilion of Surging Waves and The Master-of-Nets Garden. It was opened in 1990 and is the first China-Hong Kong Joint and Cooperative hotel in China. The design combines elements of the elegance of classical garden architecture and the comfort and luxury of modern hotels. It has welcomed countless Chinese and foreign guests, as a high-end business model in the minds of Suzhou people. The hotel was closed in 2013. After re-planning, a commercial project with Suzhou cultural elements will be built that integrates hotel, commerce, leisure and entertainment functions.
